Great Falls Deck & Carpentry replaced this weathered wood deck with a Trex Enhance composite deck and black metal railings at a home in Cascade County, Montana.
The original deck’s tall, solid wood railings made the space feel enclosed. The new metal railings create a more open appearance, allowing better views of the yard while complementing the warm brown decking.
Trex Enhance decking provides a wood-look surface without the need to sand or stain the deck boards. Coordinated fascia and matching stair finishes give the project a clean, finished appearance, while the central staircase connects the outdoor living space to the backyard.
